A resin detail set from DEF Model in 1:35 scale for the Soviet T-34/85 tank built by Factory No. 112. The set brings refined castings characteristic of that production batch and replaces or adds to simplified plastic parts. It is not a model on its own but a detail accessory for a more faithful build. The set is intended for the Academy kit.
The T-34/85 is the later version of the legendary Soviet medium tank, with an 85mm gun and a larger turret for a three-man turret crew. The individual Soviet factories differed in the execution of the turret, the castings and the detail, so a faithful build of one particular production batch calls for the matching parts.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Before gluing, check the fit against the turret and hull of the base kit; protect your airways while sanding.
The set does not hold the base kit, paints or glue. It is an accessory for a model you obtain separately.
