A photo-etched set for the Maus super-heavy tank in 1:35 scale is an add-on set for a plastic kit you already own, not a model. It adds thin metal parts to a vehicle on which large flat surfaces emphasize every inaccuracy. It fits the Dragon 6007/9133 kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
An add-on set of photo-etched brass parts from Voyager Model, cut for the Dragon 6007/9133 plastic kit. It is not a kit and not a finished model. The set replaces selected plastic parts with metal ones, typically grilles, covers, fenders and small clamps.
The Panzerkampfwagen VIII Maus was a German prototype super-heavy tank from the end of the Second World War. It got no further than a few prototype examples and the machine never reached series production or ordinary service. In design it was an exceptionally heavy vehicle with a large turret and with big flat hull surfaces, on which the cooling grilles and sheet-metal covers stand out precisely because there is so much smooth surface around them.
On a large model it pays to split the set into logical groups and deal with them one after another rather than jumping about the instructions. First the parts that end up hidden under others or under the superstructure, then the outer surfaces, and last of all the small clamps and grab handles, which are the easiest to catch during further handling. Put more complicated subassemblies together and let them dry away from the model, and only then seat them in place; a right angle and flatness are easier to check that way. As you work, tick off the finished positions in the instructions, because on an extensive set it is very easy to lose track of the part numbers.
The set is an accessory for a plastic kit and does not make up a model on its own. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
