PANZER ART RE35-536 wheels for the ZiL-157 and the BTR-152 is a resin accessory set in 1:35 with replacement wheels for the Soviet six-wheeled vehicles.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin accessory set from the Polish maker PANZER ART. It contains replacement wheels for the Soviet truck ZiL-157 and for the armored personnel carrier BTR-152, which comes from the same chassis basis. One set therefore serves two different models. It is not a vehicle kit but an accessory for a model that is already built.
Wash the castings in lukewarm soapy water so that the mold release agent disappears from the surface. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a knife and true the surface; protect your airways when sanding resin. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Before gluing, fit the wheels dry and check that the vehicle stands level on all six and that the spare seats in its bracket. Paint the tires separately; a coarse off-road tread stands out when you draw a dark glaze into the recesses and bring the edges out with a dry brush.
For modelers of Soviet postwar vehicles and for diorama makers, where the running gear is in the foreground. The set is also rewarding because it suits two different vehicles. The work assumes basic experience with resin.
The set is an accessory, not a vehicle kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
