Balsa life rafts were typical equipment on warships, above all in the US Navy of the Second World War. They were stowed along the superstructure and the sides and contributed decisively to a crew's chance of survival after a hit.
Separate the tiny rafts from the print supports and handle them with tweezers. Bend the photo-etched netting of the raft floors according to the instructions before fitting. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); once painted, the rafts come into their own with a light patina and drybrushing. Protect your airways when sanding.
