The set from MASTER contains 20 turned brass barrels for the German light anti-aircraft gun of 20 mm caliber, the C/38 (barrel length 65 calibers), in the late build, in 1:350 scale. The metal barrels replace the plastic parts and refine the small close-range anti-aircraft armament. It is a detail accessory, not a ship model.
The 2 cm C/38 gun was an improved version of the older C/30 type with a higher rate of fire, and it became the main light anti-aircraft weapon of the Kriegsmarine in the later course of the Second World War. It was fitted in single and multiple mountings on practically every class of German warship.
Separate the very thin barrels carefully from the casting block, clean them up and glue them on with cyanoacrylate. Degrease the brass before painting and apply a primer, then put the paint on with an airbrush because of how fine the parts are.
This is a metal detail accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
