Eduard 1:350 HMS King George V (cranes and railings) is a photo-etched set for raising the detail of a plastic kit of the British battleship.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a set of photo-etched parts from the Czech manufacturer Eduard, aimed at the deck cranes and the ship railings. It is not a ship model but an accessory for raising the detail of a plastic kit of the British battleship HMS King George V in 1:350 scale. The fine metal parts replace the coarser plastic ones and add elements that are difficult to mold in plastic.
HMS King George V was a British battleship, the lead ship of the Royal Navy class of the same name in the period of the Second World War. She took part in a number of operations in the Atlantic and elsewhere. The deck cranes served to handle boats and reconnaissance aircraft, and the railings ran along the decks and platforms.
Separate the parts from the fret, bend the cranes and the corner stanchions of the railings over a sharp edge and bond them spot by spot with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Fit longer stretches of railing smoothly along the outline of the deck and trim the excess to length.
This is an add-on set, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
