This add-on set from Fujimi holds three Japanese Suisei carrier aircraft in 1:350 scale. The miniature machines are meant for populating the flight deck and hangar of models of Japanese aircraft carriers — this is not a standalone aircraft kit but an add-on to a ship model.
The Suisei (Allied designation Judy) was a Japanese carrier dive bomber deployed from 1942. For its class it stood out for its high speed and slender aerodynamic fuselage; it operated from aircraft carriers and from land bases and took part in all the major naval battles in the Pacific in the second half of the war.
Separate the small parts with a sharp knife and bond them with a minimum of glue. The typical finish is a dark green upper surface and a light gray underside with prominent national insignia. You can arrange the aircraft on the deck with folded wings or in a launch scene — they give the ship model scale and life.
This is an add-on set — the ship model, glue and paints are not included in the package. The aircraft are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
