A resin detail part, not an airplane kit. This finely cast resin set replaces the vertical tail of the German Junkers Ju 88G night fighter in 1:72 scale with an accurate, correctly shaped rendering. The night fighter version of the Ju 88 received an enlarged angular vertical fin taken from the Ju 188 type, which noticeably improved its handling. The part is meant for more experienced modelers who work with resin.
The shape of the vertical tail is decisive for the silhouette of an aircraft, and any inaccuracy shows at once on a finished model. The resin replacement captures the correct outline and section of the enlarged fin and the finely suggested surface detail. It thus deals with the case where the plastic from the box does not have the quite accurate tail shape of the night fighter.
