This is an add-on detail set, not a model in its own right. The set brings replacement tracks cast in resin for the tracked carriage of the Soviet 203 mm B-4 model 1931 heavy howitzer in 1:35 scale. It replaces the tracks supplied in the plastic kit and raises the fidelity of the profile and of the division of the links.
The B-4 model 1931 was a Soviet 203 mm howitzer on a characteristic tracked carriage, which allowed it to move in difficult terrain. It was committed in the Second World War above all in breaking through fortified positions. It is precisely the massive tracked underside that is its unmistakable feature, and realistic tracks make a marked difference on it.
First wash the parts clean of mold release agent, separate them carefully from the casting blocks and clean them up. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Do the sanding and the adjustments with respiratory protection. The tracks take a primer well, and the washes and pigments that follow for showing mud and dust.
The set holds replacement tracks only. The base model, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
