An extensive detailing set for a model of the Japanese battleship Musashi in her 1944 form, in 1:350 scale, with a stained deck in a dark shade.
Responsibility details are not available.
Musashi was the second completed battleship of the Yamato class and, together with her sister ship, one of the largest battleships ever built. She entered service at the end of 1942, her main armament was nine 460 mm guns in three turrets, and over the course of the war her light anti-aircraft armament grew. She was sunk in October 1944 in the fighting off the Philippines, so her 1944 form captures the ship in her last period.
This is an extensive detailing set from the range designated Advanced, intended for the Tamiya 78025 kit in 1:350 scale. Sets of this scope replace and complete parts that can only be molded in a simplified way in plastic, and a stained deck is included. The exact list of contents and the recommended order of work are in the instructions enclosed in the package.
The set is aimed at experienced builders of ship models who want to take a large battleship to display-case standard and are reckoning with a long build. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
