The manufacturer Decalcas lists the set as an accessory for the GT40 Mk II kits in 1:12 from Trumpeter and Magnifier — compare it against the dashboard of your own kit.
The Ford GT40 Mk II was the version with the seven-liter V8 engine with which Ford won the twenty-four hours of Le Mans in 1966 — the end of a long Italian dominance in endurance racing. The dashboard of a racing GT40 is plain and legible: a large tachometer in the center of the driver's view and a group of instruments around it. In 1:12 scale the dashboard is therefore one of the places everyone who looks at the model looks at.
Dial faces stand out on a flat black base, but a decal needs gloss if it is not to silver — so spray a gloss coat first, apply onto that, and flatten the surrounding area only at the end. A decal softener will deal with the bends of edges and bezels. A drop of gloss varnish or of clear resin acting as a lens will give a finished dial face depth.
