Responsibility details are not available.
The dark blue is listed in the Number 5 range and takes its name from the car designated Sierra in the Q8 finish. A cream yellow is listed under the same name in the same range, so both colors belong to one color scheme and can be used side by side.
Sand the surface smooth, wash it and degrease it. Dark shades do cover small scratches better than light ones, but every greasy fingerprint and every ill-considered repair stands out on them. Stir the container thoroughly before use, as the pigment settles to the bottom and badly stirred paint comes out unevenly.
Apply several thin coats with a short pause between them. Thin it with the thinner meant for this range of paints; the thinning ratio and the pressure in the airbrush are given by the manufacturer in the instructions on the packaging. With dark surfaces, count on the paint swallowing the shape optically and the fine definition of the gaps on a model disappearing. Lightening the surface slightly in the middle of the parts helps, so that the edges stay readable. Mask the boundary between the dark and the light part of the scheme only on a fully dried coat, and spray the light color over the dark one only on a well-prepared ground, or the lower coat will show through it.
For builders of models of competition cars who put a two-tone scheme together from ready shades. It is a paint on its own; thinner, clear varnish and spraying equipment are not supplied with it, unless stated otherwise.
