A sheet of waterslide markings in the large motorcycle scale 1:12. The Japanese Studio27 has worked onto it two Yamaha YZR-M1 machines of the Tech 3 satellite team with race numbers 6 and 50 from the 2007 season. A model, paints and varnish are not part of the supply.
The year 2007 was a turning point in the premier class of road racing motorcycles: the rules cut displacement from nine hundred to eight hundred cubic centimeters and the machines had to be created practically anew. Yamaha stayed with an inline four-cylinder engine with a crankshaft with irregular firing intervals, thanks to which the engine had an audibly uneven running and a more predictable delivery of power to the rear wheel. Tech 3 is a French team that has long run machines in customer specification for Yamaha and serves it at the same time as a testing and training operation for young riders.
In the large scale the motifs are sizable and will not take a fold, so separate them with scissors with long blades and carry them on a hard surface. The fairing of a motorcycle has many convex surfaces on which the film stretches, so it pays to work in parts and to let each part dry before you lay the neighboring one. Varnish the tank and the side panels only at the very end.
