1:35 ridge tile (resin building accessory, Firma49)

A ridge tile is the roof tile that finishes off the ridge of a pitched roof. This accessory is made of resin by high-resolution 3D printing and serves for realistic roofing of houses, barns and ruins in building dioramas in 1:35 scale. Firma49 is a Czech manufacturer of modeling accessories.

Usage tips

Wash the residue of uncured print resin off the parts and separate them from the 3D print supports. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and fill the joints if necessary. Apply a primer before painting, then bring the shades to life with pigments and washes for the effect of weathered ceramic. Protect your airways while sanding.
