A comprehensive detail set for the Douglas A-4M Skyhawk attack aircraft in 1:48 scale from the Czech maker Aires. It is a resin accessory that faithfully improves several parts of the base plastic kit at once, as a rule the cockpit interior and further exterior details with finely executed structure.
The A-4 Skyhawk is an American light carrier-based attack aircraft of the 1950s, valued for its small dimensions, its simplicity and its long life in service. The A-4M version was a late variant with a more powerful engine and an enlarged, more angular canopy with a better view out.
First wash the resin parts free of mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks carefully and bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Use respiratory protection while sanding. The details come into their own best once painted and picked out gently with a wash.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not an airplane model. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
