An A6M bulkhead with the seat at middle height combines the rear cockpit wall with the seat in the middle of its range and completes the Zero kit by Tamiya.

This resin part combines the rear wall of the crew compartment with the seat set in the middle of the height adjustment range. The variant is aimed at the Zero kit by Tamiya and is the most versatile choice, because that is exactly how the seat is most often caught in period photographs.
The type went through a series of modifications during the war. The A6M3 received shortened wings with square tips and a supercharged engine, while the A6M5 got thicker wing skin and separate exhaust stacks, which added a few kilometers per hour. The armament stayed at a pair of cannon in the wing backed by machine guns above the engine. Even these modifications could no longer make up the lead of the new American fighters, which went for performance and toughness.
Spray the base coat with an airbrush in a thin layer, otherwise it will fill the fine texture of the print. Once dry comes the interior shade, then the wear on the seat cushion and finally spot highlighting of the edges. The cushion tends to be noticeably darker than the surrounding surfaces, so it is worth setting it apart. Anyone who wants to go further adds belts to the seat from photo-etch or thin foil.
The set takes care of the interior; the airframe of the aircraft is part of another product.
