It is not an airplane kit nor a standalone model: it is an accessory with which you add more accurately shaped and more finely detailed armament to a finished plastic kit than the parts from the basic box usually offer. The set is intended for machines of the F-4, F-15, F-16 and F-111 types.
The AGM-142 Have Nap is a heavy guided missile for destroying ground targets from standoff range, that is, outside the reach of point air defenses. It was created in Israel and under its American designation it also entered service with further air arms. The guidance head works with the image from a television or thermal imaging camera and transmits it over a data link back to the aircraft, so the operator can take the missile right to a particular point on the target. In size it is among the most conspicuous stores the aircraft types named carry.
First wash the resin parts in warm soapy water, so that the mold release residue is removed; otherwise paint will not hold. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a sharp knife, never snap them, and level the surface with abrasive paper; protect your airways when sanding resin. It is bonded with super glue, as ordinary cement for plastic does not take on resin. Apply a primer before painting, handle the contrast stripes and markings with masking tape and finally unify everything with a matte clear coat.
This is an accessory for a plastic kit, not a standalone model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue and paints are not included in the package.
