Pre-painted photo-etched seatbelts for the Beaufighter Mk.VI, steel version, 1:48 from Eduard. A detail accessory for models of the Bristol Beaufighter Mk.VI fighter-bomber, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a set of photo-etched seatbelts in the steel version, color-printed at the factory. It is not a kit but a fine upgrade accessory for 1:48 models of the twin-engine Bristol Beaufighter Mk.VI fighter-bomber. Steel etching holds its shape after bending better than brass, so the straps drape naturally over the seat.
The Bristol Beaufighter was a British twin-engine multi-role aircraft of the Second World War, deployed as a night fighter and as a torpedo and strike machine. The Mk.VI version was among the most widespread and served with the Royal Air Force and Allied units on a number of fronts. Detailed belts bring the cockpit to life, and it is clearly visible with the canopy open.
Separate the parts from the fret, shape them by bending over a sharp edge and glue them with a small amount of super glue or with glue for photo-etched parts. The printed layer does not tolerate aggressive thinners, so work with them carefully around the belts and apply matte varnish only lightly.
The accessory is supplied unassembled. The base model and glue are not included in the package.
