Quickboost is a range from the Czech maker Aires focused on simple, quick replacements: the part is designed to replace the seat from a kit directly with no complicated work, and it offers crisper detail than injection-molded plastic allows.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was the backbone fighter of the Luftwaffe and one of the most heavily produced fighter aircraft in history. The F, G and K versions cover the development of the type from 1941 to the end of the war. In the later phases of the conflict German industry struggled with a shortage of strategic materials, and so components made of wood appeared in part of the production - among them this type of pilot seat, which differs in shape from the usual metal pan.
Wash the part before painting in warm soapy water so that any mold release agent is removed. Separate the seat from the casting block with a fine saw or a sharp blade and sand the mating surface lightly - we recommend respiratory protection while sanding resin. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and apply a thin coat of primer before painting. Choose the shade according to the particular machine and period references; the seat is brought to life by a fine wash and the addition of seat belts.
