Bristol Beaufighter Mk.VI 1:48 - colored 3D cockpit details on a paper carrier, the smaller extent of the set from Quinta Studio. It will replace the flat details of the pilot's and the operator's stations. The set is intended for the Tamiya kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set from Quinta Studio works with layered parts that are printed already in color and are lifted off a backing paper. Thanks to this the modeler gets a three-dimensional instrument panel and side walls without emphasizing them by hand. The designation of the smaller extent in the name means a narrower focus on the main areas. It is based on the dimensions of the Tamiya kit.
The Bristol Beaufighter grew out of the design of the torpedo-carrying Beaufort and became a heavy two-seat machine with Hercules radial engines. The Mk.VI version is fitted with Hercules power units and with radar for night interception, and the second crew member operated its screens. Striking power was given by four guns of 20 mm caliber in the nose completed with machine guns in the wing. Besides the night sky over Britain the type also served with Coastal Command and in the Mediterranean.
The stations of the pilot and of the rear crew member lie far apart, each under its own glazing - plan your work separately for the two places, therefore. Release the paper in lukewarm water, slide the parts onto gloss varnish and press them down with a soft tip, not with a finger. Fine scuffs with the edge of a pencil on the raised parts of the panel will give the impression of a worn cockpit.
The box holds only this accessory; obtain the model of the aircraft separately.
