A resin detail set from Aires for 1:48 scale. This is not an airplane model but an aftermarket accessory. It replaces or completes the auxiliary air intakes on the fuselage of the British version of the Phantom with faithfully cast resin parts with fine detail of the flaps and the inner surfaces.
The British Phantom FG.1 and FGR.2 versions differed from the American forms above all in their different jet engines, which also called for changes to the intakes and the cooling. They served with the Royal Air Force as well as the Royal Navy.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond with super glue. Fit the intakes to the fuselage carefully and fill and sand the transitions. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The plastic kit itself and glue are not included in the package.
