The real subject

The Canadair Sabre was the Canadian license-built version of the American F-86 Sabre jet. The F.4 designation was carried by the aircraft in Royal Air Force service in the 1950s, where they temporarily filled a gap in its fighter strength. The instrument panel matches that version.
