A resin, directly 3D printed set from Eduard in 1:48 scale. It is not an airplane model but a set of external stores: British medium capacity (MC) aerial bombs of 250 pounds for Curtiss P-40E Warhawk fighter-bombers. The parts have sharp detail on the fins and faithful casings that stand out well once painted.

Usage tips

  • Separate the parts from the print supports and clean up the mating surfaces.
  • Wash them before gluing and let them dry.
  • Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and sand with respiratory protection.
  • Painting in period ordnance shades with a fine wash brings out the detail of the bombs.
