This is a resin (3D-printed) detail accessory, not a standalone kit. The set contains the inner wing root pylons for a model of the Douglas A-1 Skyraider attack aircraft, on which the external stores and additional tanks are hung. Faithful pylons improve the look of the rich external load the Skyraider was famous for.
The Douglas A-1 Skyraider is an American single-engine piston attack aircraft, used in Korea and in Vietnam. It stood out for its great load capacity and for the number of hardpoints under the wings and the fuselage, on which it took bombs, rockets, tanks and other loads.
Clean the uncured print resin residue off the parts, cut them off the print supports and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Take care over the correct placing and angle of the pylons according to the documentation. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted; paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
