Responsibility details are not available.
A scenery material from the Czech manufacturer Model Scene for dioramas in 1:48 scale. The package contains two flat sheets of wooden shingle covering on which the heads of the nails that fixed the shingle to the boarding are additionally indicated. It is not a finished roof and not a building kit, but a loose material that you glue onto your own roof substrate.
On a real shingle roof a regular grid of nails is visible in the upper part of each piece, which the next row then covers. In 1:48 scale this detail already reads well, so the version with nails looks richer on a roof than the plain one, especially when the nails are brought out after painting. The plain basic version is sold separately and suits places where the roof is to be calmer or far away from the viewer.
Lay from the bottom up with an overlap following the drawn guide lines and glue with PVA wood glue. Paint only once it is glued on, with thinned shades applied irregularly shingle by shingle. The nails come out in two ways: a dark wash based on brown and rust draws itself into the depressions, or they can be carefully stippled with a dry brush in a rust shade once dry. Rust from nails also bleeds down the wood in vertical streaks, so a few thin strokes running down from the heads give the roof credibility.
The material is supplied unpainted, for further work. The glue, the paints and the supporting structure are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
