This resin detail set holds a faithfully rendered ESCAPAC 1G-2 ejection seat in the version for the A-7D Corsair II aircraft in 1:48 scale. It is an accessory to a kit with which you replace the simplified seat and raise the realism of the cockpit.
ESCAPAC (Escape Package) is an American ejection seat developed by Douglas. The 1G-2 version was used in the Corsair II light attack aircraft. The version for the A-7D matches the land-based variant of this type and differs in detail from the seat intended for the naval version.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Once painted, the harness, the ejection handles and the fine texture of the cushion all come out.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin accessory to a kit. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
