A refueling probe cover for the F-101A Voodoo in 1:48 scale is a resin detail set from the Quickboost (Aires) brand for a faithful cover over the fighter's fuel probe.
Responsibility details are not available.
A detailed resin part of the cover over the in-flight refueling probe, which replaces or supplements the base kit's solution with a more accurate casting. It is NOT an aircraft model but a small accessory to the base kit of the American McDonnell F-101 Voodoo fighter in the A version.
The McDonnell F-101 Voodoo was an American twin-engine supersonic fighter of the so-called Century series. The F-101A version served as a fighter-bomber of the US Air Force. The cover placed over the refueling probe on the side of the nose is among the details that are clearly apparent on a model.
Cut the part off the casting block, wash it free of mold release agent and glue it with cyanoacrylate. Check how it sits on the fuselage and even the shade out with the surrounding surface.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and, as an aftermarket set, it calls for a more experienced hand. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
