A sheet of decals with patches and with markings for pilot helmets for the F-14 aircraft in 1:48 scale. The crews of Tomcats wore the patches of their unit on their flight suits and the helmets tended to be decorated with colored markings, so a figure of a pilot standing beside a model comes across as unfinished without these details. The designation of the fourth part distinguishes the individual sheets within the range.

Cut the motif out close to the edge, soak it in lukewarm water and let it loosen on the paper. Coat the place under the decal with gloss varnish beforehand, slide the motif off the paper and draw the surplus water off with a cloth. The helmet and the sleeve are curved surfaces, so a softener comes in useful; once it is applied, do not touch the decal until it has dried, as it will otherwise tear. Finally go over the area with matte varnish.
It will be appreciated by a modeler who is building crew figures or a scene on the deck of an aircraft carrier to go with an aircraft and wants the small markings to correspond to the real subject. Motifs of this kind suit filling out a display case too, where a figure stands close to the viewer's eye. In the package there is the decal sheet; the figures, the model of the aircraft, the paints and the varnishes are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
