A detail set of the wheel (landing gear) bays for the F-16C/D Fighting Falcon fighter in 1:48 scale from Aires. The resin accessory replaces the often simplified bays of a plastic kit with faithfully detailed spaces with a structure of ribs, piping and wiring.
The F-16 Fighting Falcon is an American single-engine multirole fighter, one of the most widespread modern combat aircraft. The F-16C/D designation covers the single-seat as well as the two-seat version of the later blocks with modernized avionics and equipment.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond with super glue. The bays come into their own once painted in a base shade, with the edges picked out dry and a gentle wash that underlines the three-dimensional structure of the piping and the wiring.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not an airplane model. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
