A resin, 3D-printed replacement ejection seat for the carrier version of the Lockheed Martin F-35C Lightning II fighter. It replaces the simplified plastic part and raises the realism of the cockpit markedly. It is a detail accessory, not an aircraft model.
The part captures the intricate structure of the seat, the harness straps, the handles and the small controls with a crispness that injection-molded plastic cannot manage. The seat is laid out for easy fitting and is the dominant element seen in an open cockpit.
