The F-8 Crusader is an American single-engine carrier-based fighter with its characteristic variable-incidence wing. The wing was raised for take-off and landing to increase the angle of attack while the fuselage stayed level. With the wing raised, the area around the engine duct is exposed.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate them from the casting blocks and bond with super glue. The compartment shows best open, so it pays to paint it in stages and pick out the details with a gentle wash.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not an airplane model. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
