A set of cast resin barrels for the gun armament of the Quickboost brand for a plastic model of the American carrier-based Vought F4U-5 Corsair fighter in the night version configuration (F4U-5N) in 1:48 scale. This aftermarket accessory replaces the kit plastic parts with more accurate and more faithfully shaped castings.
The Vought F4U Corsair was an American carrier-based fighter with a cranked wing and a radial engine. The night version derived from the F4U-5 carried a radar and the matching armament and was deployed in the Korean War as well.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, carefully separate the casting blocks and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue. The thin barrels are fragile, so attach them only at the end of the build.
This is an accessory, not an aircraft model. The kit itself and the glue are not included in the package.
