Eduard 1:48 F6F undercarriage is a set of photo-etched parts for bringing out the landing gear of the model of the Grumman F6F Hellcat fighter. The model itself is not included in the package.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard aimed at the landing gear of the American carrier-based fighter Grumman F6F Hellcat in 1:48 scale. The thin metal parts refine the gear legs, the doors of the landing gear bays and their inner bracing, which come out coarse in plastic. It is not a model of an airplane but an accessory for advanced detailing; the basic kit has to be bought separately.
The Grumman F6F Hellcat is an American carrier-based fighter of the Second World War, put into action from 1943 above all in the Pacific. Its sturdy structure, powerful engine and good armament made it the decisive machine in the fight for air superiority over the Pacific. The landing gear retracted backwards into the wing with a characteristic rotation of the wheels.
Separate the small parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and bend them in a metal bending tool. They are glued with super glue; larger areas can be fixed with epoxy. Degrease the metal parts before painting and pull a primer over them.
This is a set of photo-etched parts, not a model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
