A detailed pre-colored photo-etched instrument panel for models of the Italian Macchi MC.200 Saetta fighter in 1:72 scale. The panel is built up from laminated photo-etched layers into a three-dimensional form, the dials are printed in color and a gloss layer imitates the glass of the instruments. The panel is conceived as a drop-in replacement and is fitted without painting and practically without further work.
The Macchi MC.200 Saetta was an Italian fighter of the Second World War with an all-metal structure and a radial engine. It was notable for good handling and toughness, although it was relatively lightly armed against its Allied opponents. It served with the Regia Aeronautica in the Mediterranean and on the Eastern Front.
The panel is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The color printing and the gloss imitation of glass take the place of both painting and decals. In 1:72 scale these are very small parts with sharp edges, so work carefully.
This is an accessory, not an aircraft kit. It contains small photo-etched parts and is not suitable for children.
