Eduard F6F landing gear legs BRONZE (1:48)

This is a detailing add-on set, not an airplane model. The set from the Brassin range contains the main landing gear legs for F6F Hellcat models in 1:48 scale, made in bronze. The metal legs are stronger than the plastic parts from the box and carry the weight of a finished model better, so the landing gear does not bend under the load. At the same time they offer sharper and more faithful detail.

What it is for

They replace the original plastic main landing gear legs. Bronze gives stiffness even on heavier models with resin or metal accessories. It is an upgrade for a more faithful and more durable landing gear.

Usage tips

• Degrease the metal parts before gluing and roughen the surfaces for the joint.
• Bond with cyanoacrylate glue or with a two-part glue.
• Apply the paint over a primer suitable for metal, so that it holds well.
• Check how the legs sit in relation to the gear bays before the final gluing.
