Quinta Studio 1:48 FM-2 Wildcat 3D interior decal brings three-dimensional, pre-colored cockpit detail on a flexible film, applied wet like a decal.
Responsibility details are not available.
A color 3D interior decal from Quinta Studio in 1:48 scale on backing decal paper. The detail is printed on a flexible film with real relief, so the instrument panel, the side panels, the seat and the belts look three-dimensional. The colors and the labels are pre-printed, so the cockpit does not have to be painted by hand.
The FM-2 Wildcat was the version of the American Wildcat carrier fighter built by General Motors. Lightened and revised, with a taller fin, it was intended above all for operating from small escort carriers. In the second half of the war it did important work protecting convoys.
Cut the part out of the sheet, soak it in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slide it off the backing paper into place. The parts have no adhesive layer of their own and hold on a gloss coat such as Future or Klear, or Tamiya X-22; on complex areas a drop of super glue helps. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as the chemicals attack the printed resin. Work section by section and degrease the surfaces beforehand.
The set contains the interior 3D decals only. The plastic kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
