The set from the manufacturer Quinta Studio brings a color cockpit interior printed by 3D technology onto decal paper. It is neither a kit nor an airplane model but a three-dimensional accessory intended for plastic models of the Mirage 2000N in 1:48 scale. This is the reduced version, aimed above all at the main panels; the parts are printed in color and ready to be applied. The set is intended for the Kinetic kit.
The Dassault Mirage 2000N is a French two-seat strike aircraft derived from the Mirage 2000 fighter and adapted for low-level flight and strike tasks. It keeps the characteristic delta wing and the tandem arrangement of the two cockpits. It served as a weapons carrier in the French Air Force for a number of years.
3D decals combine three-dimensional relief with the simplicity of a wet decal. Painting falls away, and so does assembling multi-layer pre-painted photo-etched parts. The part is soaked for about fifteen seconds in lukewarm water, slid off the backing paper onto gloss varnish and left to dry; it has no adhesive layer of its own. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as their chemistry will attack the printed resin and ruin the element. Because this is the reduced version, it supplements the main panels rather than the complete equipment of both cockpits.
This is an accessory, not a model in its own right. The plastic model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
