Responsibility details are not available.
The Quickboost set (a range of the Aires company) holds resin replacement air intakes for the British Gloster Gladiator biplane fighter, in 1:48 scale. It is a detail accessory for a kit that replaces the plastic parts and brings open, finely rendered intakes with a cavity.
The Gloster Gladiator was the last biplane fighter of the Royal Air Force and it saw combat in the early phases of the Second World War. It was powered by a radial engine, whose operation relied on the air intakes on the nose. A faithful rendering of the intakes improves the overall impression of the engine section.
Wash the mold release agent off the castings, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up. Bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways while sanding. The inside of the intakes is usually darkened, and the edges can be given a little grime.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
