Eduard Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIc SPACE (1:48) is a set of colored 3D decals and photo-etched belts for improving the cockpit of the Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIc fighter model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the SPACE range by the Czech manufacturer Eduard combines colored 3D decals for the instrument and side panels with photo-etched, pre-painted steel seat belts. It makes it possible to improve the cockpit interior of the Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIc fighter model in 1:48 scale markedly, without the need for a complicated resin installation. It is not a kit but a detail accessory.
The Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIc was a British fighter armed with four 20 mm cannons, widely used during the Second World War in the fighter as well as the ground-attack role. A faithfully rendered cockpit with legible instruments and belts is among the things that catch the eye on a model at first glance.
The colored 3D decals have a three-dimensional relief. They have no adhesive layer of their own: the part is released from the backing paper with water and placed onto the panels in the cockpit, where it gives the instruments a three-dimensional, realistic look. Do not add a decal softener to them, as it would attack the printed resin. The photo-etched belts are bent and glued with cyanoacrylate glue. The parts are pre-painted, so there is no need to paint them; it is enough to place them sensitively and, if you wish, to knock back the sheen.
The aircraft model, glue and paints are not included in the package. The set holds 3D decals and photo-etched belts.
