Color three-dimensional interior parts for the Kubelwagen Type 82 on backing decal paper in 1:48 scale for the Tamiya kit, together with three-dimensionally printed resin parts.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Kubelwagen Type 82 was a German light off-road car of the Second World War period, built with an open body and simple fittings. It is exactly the open body that means the whole interior is visible on a finished model, including the instruments, the seats and the floor.
Color three-dimensional interior parts, that is the instrument panel, the seat upholstery and other surfaces of the cabin, together with separate three-dimensionally printed resin parts. The parts are printed on backing decal paper and carry a raised relief, while the printed parts add shapes that a flat element cannot capture.
Cut the element out of the sheet, soak it in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slide it off the paper into place. It has no adhesive layer of its own, so smooth the area under it, paint it and polish it with a gloss varnish of the Future, Klear or Tamiya X-22 kind. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as the chemicals attack the printed resin.
The printed resin parts are worked differently. Cut their print supports off a little way from the surface, sand the remains down, wash the parts and degrease them. They are not polystyrene, so join them with super glue and paint them only after a base color has been laid down.
Only the set of interior parts with the printed parts is supplied. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
