A resin detail set for experienced modelers, intended for L-39C Albatros models in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory: it replaces the simplified plastic parts with faithful castings of the airbrakes and their wells and makes it possible to show the brakes in the open position with realistic detail.
The airbrakes on the fuselage of the Albatros swing out on approach and while maneuvering. The set adds fine relief to the panels, the stiffeners and the inner walls of the wells, so an open brake looks convincing. The set is intended for the C trainer variant in 1:48 scale.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks carefully and clean up the surfaces. Bond the resin only with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Apply a primer before painting; shading and a fine wash bring the insides of the wells to life.
This is a resin add-on set, not a complete kit. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
