A resin detail set from the Brassin range by the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It contains two LAU-10/A pods for unguided ZUNI rockets in 1:48 scale, complemented by photo-etched parts and decals. It is an accessory of external stores for models of combat aircraft, not a standalone kit.
The LAU-10/A is a four-tube pod for 127 mm unguided ZUNI rockets, used above all by naval aviation. ZUNI rockets served for attacks on ground and surface targets. The set makes it possible to show the pods with the tube mouths either open or covered.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand them with respiratory protection. Bond the resin with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and the small photo-etched parts as well. Apply a primer before painting and put the decals onto a gloss varnish.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
