Eduard 1:48 F-16C Block 25 seatbelts STEEL: color-printed steel seat harness belts for the seat of an F-16C model in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of seat harness belts from the STEEL range by Eduard of the Czech Republic for a model of the F-16C Block 25 in 1:48 scale. The belts are etched from thin steel foil and printed in color at the factory, including the buckles and the shading: all you do is shape them and glue them onto the ejection seat. Steel is springier and thinner than conventional brass, so the belts follow the shape of the seat naturally and read like real fabric.
The pilot of an F-16 is strapped into the ejection seat by a multi-point harness system that holds him under g loads and in an ejection. On a model the cockpit is clearly visible under the large bubble canopy, and it is precisely the belts on the seat that a viewer notices first.
Shape the belts over a rounded tool, for example a brush handle, so that they take on a natural curve. Glue them with a small drop of cyanoacrylate applied on a pin. Do not clean the printed parts with solvents, and apply any flat clear coat in a thin layer only. Transfer the tiny buckles with a dampened toothpick.
This is an add-on set: the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
