It is not an airplane kit but an accessory for finishing a larger kit: a set of faithfully cast exhaust stacks for the Italian Macchi C.202 Folgore fighter in 1:48 scale. The package holds resin parts and a sheet of decals. Always check compatibility with your base model.
Exhausts in plastic tend to be solid and without openings. The resin castings have hollowed mouths and a fine texture, so once painted and weathered the engine exhausts of the Macchi C.202 Folgore look realistic. The set replaces the simplified parts from the box with a sharper copy of the real thing.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut the casting blocks off with a saw and clean up the edges. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The exhausts look best with graded metallic and rusty shades and a light wash. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
This is a detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
