1:48 Messerschmitt Bf 109G-10 with late wheels LööKplus is a combined accessory set from the manufacturer Eduard in the LööKplus line, bringing together resin cockpit equipment and late-type resin wheels. It is not a kit of the aircraft but a set of parts for improving it.

The LööKplus line from Eduard combines in one package two things that are otherwise bought separately: resin cockpit equipment from the LööK line and resin wheels. The name makes clear that these are late-type wheels, that is, the form matching the last production series of the Bf 109G. The aim is to lift the level of detail at the two most closely watched places on the model, the cockpit and the landing gear, without etching and without folding tiny strips of metal. Compare the exact make-up of the package with the illustration on the packaging before buying.
The Bf 109G-10 was one of the last production versions of the German single-engine Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter. It came about through the unification of airframe standards at the close of the war, it was powered by an engine of the DB 605 series in late form, and its typical features were the altered covers over the upper parts of the engine and a lightened canopy with better visibility. Late machines were given larger main wheels, which showed in the shape of the covers in the wing as well.
Wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with dish soap and check whether the cockpit casting seats in the fuselage; often it is enough to thin the inner walls of the fuselage with sandpaper. Cut the casting blocks off the wheels and sand the contact face flat. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint and assemble the cabin before you close the fuselage; bring out the small details with a dark wash and a dry brush. Leave the tires in a dark gray tone and spray the hubs separately. Sand resin wet and do not breathe in the dust.
