This resin detail set brings finely cast covers for the exhaust nozzles for a model of the Soviet MiG-29A Fulcrum fighter in 1:48 scale. On the real machines the covers were fitted when the aircraft stood on the ground, to protect the engines. It is not a stand-alone airplane model but an accessory that enriches a display of the aircraft on the ramp. The castings have crisp edges and a faithful shape.
The MiG-29 Fulcrum is a Soviet and later Russian single-seat fourth-generation fighter designed for air combat. The A version was an early production variant with two engines and characteristic air intakes. The Fulcrum spread to a number of air forces and became one of the best-known fighters of its era.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts, carefully separate them from the casting blocks and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. The covers suit dioramas and a display of the machine when it is not flying.
This is an add-on set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
