The set brings faithfully rendered exhaust nozzles for the Soviet Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-19 supersonic fighter in 1:48 scale. It is a resin detail accessory with photo-etch added, which replaces the simplified plastic nozzles with well detailed parts and creates a convincing view into the pair of jet nozzles at the rear of the aircraft.
Resin nozzles with fine inner and outer texture and photo-etched details. The parts raise the realism of the rear of the model, which is otherwise markedly simplified when seen from behind. Meant for MiG-19 models in this scale.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts and separate them from the casting blocks. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and bend the photo-etch over an edge. Bring out the inside of the nozzles with metallic and heat-tinted shades.
This is an accessory, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
