An injection-molded plastic kit of the French supersonic fighter Dassault Mirage III in 1:48 scale from Heller. The boxing covers several versions and export users (E, O, R, RD, EE, EA) and brings new decals. It is a classic tooling that lets you build one of the widespread variants of this iconic delta-wing aircraft.
The Mirage III was a French supersonic fighter with the characteristic tailless delta wing, and it became one of the most successful European combat aircraft of the Cold War. It stood out for its high speed and its simple, rugged structure, which is why a number of countries around the world bought it. The versions differed in role, from interceptor to reconnaissance and export fighter configurations.
Use thin cement for plastic and work in subassemblies. Finish and paint the cockpit before you close up the fuselage. On an older tooling give attention to filling and sanding the joints, especially at the fuselage-to-wing junction. Lay down a primer before painting and apply the colors with an airbrush; depending on the version you choose you can manage both silver metal finishes and multicolor desert or European camouflage schemes with the lines gently brought out.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
