A decal sheet for the Japanese fighter Nakajima Ki-43 Hayabusa in 1:48 scale, the first part of the series.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Nakajima Ki-43 Hayabusa was a single-engine fighter of the Japanese Army Air Force with a radial engine, in action from the beginning of the war in the Pacific until its end. Builders have taken to it for its exceptional agility, which it paid for with weak armament and a light structure. The Allies used the code name Oscar for it.
This is a decal sheet in 1:48 scale intended for this type. The qualifier Part 1 means that it is the first part of a series of sheets for the same aircraft, so further ones follow on from it. Which particular machines and which markings the sheet carries you will learn from the manufacturer's enclosed list. Before applying them, then, compare the features with the shape of your model and lay their positions out dry.
Decals hold best on smooth gloss varnish, so before applying them go over the model with clear gloss varnish and degrease the surface. If these are classic wet decals, cut the individual features out, soak them in lukewarm water for a few seconds and slide them into place; a decal softener helps them settle into the panel lines. The exact procedure is given in the manufacturer's instructions. Once dry, seal the decals with matte or semi-matte varnish according to the form you have chosen.
The package holds a decal sheet. Paints, varnishes and a decal softener are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
