75 gal drop tank (early) P-51B/C, 1:48, Eduard Brassin PRINT

This set from the Brassin PRINT range is made by direct 3D printing in resin and brings drop fuel tanks of 75 gallons capacity in the early version. It serves to equip a model of the P-51B/P-51C Mustang fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft kit, but an accuracy accessory with a smooth surface free of a parting line, typical of 3D printing.

Use

  • Carefully separate the parts from the print supports and clean up the mating surfaces.
  • They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate) to the hardpoints under the wing.
  • Check the fit against the pylons of your particular model before gluing.
  • Spray a primer and work the tanks into the color scheme of the aircraft.
